My son is 5 1/2, and on the small size. I purchased this suit in Youth 6, and it's the perfect size for him. He loves it because it helps keep him warm during swim lessons--no more blue lips! I like how quickly it dries and how well-made it is. After having looked around at several swim shops, I think the price is fair, as well. And it looks very sporty and stylish.
Definitely recommended.
